Fourth Devlog - UI!!!!


For this Devlog there's nothing much to show, but rather a lot to talk about.
We've updated the game's UI for the lobby section of the game, to make its visuals align more with the artstyle of our game.
Here's a sneak peek on how it looks like:

As you can see, it has a custom font and textures, which are more pixelart-like and further resemble what you can expect from the game's visuals.

Besides UI improvements, the team has been talking about new ideas on future class-exclusive weapons, and what they would do when deployed in the battlefield:

1. A stick of dynamite or any cartoon-like type of explosive that would explode on contact:

2. A nail gun with fast projectiles that would each one deal little damage, but would throw 2-3 of these projectiles. Because they're so fast, they barely fall down due to gravity:



3. A ray gun of sorts, with projectiles that could chain onto nearby enemies, dealing damage that would decrease with each chained opponent:

4. A flask filled with a kind of poison, that would leave a damaging cloud on the stage on impact, and would last for a couple rounds, dealing damage to anything inside it:



5. A virus of some sort, that would leave a blinding cloud on the stage on impact. It is similar to the previous one, but instead of dealing a generous amount of damage, its damage would be lessened in exchange for a "smoke cloud" of sorts, that makes it hard for players to check what's inside the cloud:
