Devlog Week 5: First Build!
Devlog week 5
On this occasion, we present the first build of our game.
This build contains the prototypical foundations for future development of the mechanics along with level design. Here, we introduce a start menu along with 2 test levels. This start menu features a button to initiate the game and an exit button; the credits button currently lacks functionality, which is intended to be added in future builds.
The current gameplay offers a main character with the mobility of a platforming game, coupled with the ability to shoot one bullet at a time, in a map where they can move and jump. There is also a pause menu that allows for returning to the main menu, restarting, or continuing. Furthermore, a victory condition is presented with an as-yet undefined appearance, which currently resembles electricity.
