Devlog Week 6-7: Stop Banana Time!


New Devlog week! 

Today we're gonna update you on our progress at the game. Since our last devlog, we've developed several things for our game. 

The main mechanic, the timestop, has been implemented! Enemies, platforms and projectiles will stop if they're inside the area of effect. When the effect is over, they will resume their movement just as it was before the time stopped. Also, there's a cool animation when you stop time!

 Enemies can now deal damage, if they come in contact with the player, the player will receive 1 damage and enter an immune state for 1 second. This will be adjusted in the future to match the intended difficulty of the game.

Don't Cover your ears! Because now there are sound effects! We added sounds to the menu, weapon, and goal. Now whenever you click an option, shoot your weapon or complete a level, a sound will play. More sounds will be added as we continue development.

We've also added new sprites and tilemaps! We plan to use these for future levels, making the game more diverse and visually appealing. Introducing... our intro! When you open the game, a cool intro will play showing our main character running across the screen. Pretty cool, huh?
